IV. Old Business
1. Housing Q and A— Moved to Nov. 12 regular meeting agenda
· Mayor Vic Loomis is up-to-date after neighborhood walk on October 8th.
· Debi Robinson reported that Greg Savoie, Code Enforcement and Neighborhood Conservation program (CENC), inspected two properties in Ivanhoe (1272 Scott and 1265 Ivanhoe). He deemed them not in violation of code. Owners of the properties will be summoned to court, and charged fees.
· Kathy Jacobs has called CENC concerning property on the corner of Marigold and Larkspur.
2. Trowbridge—
· Jeff Friedle reported that the TIGER grant for a green community is still being considered.
· Jeff Friedle and Brendan Boyle reported that work on Trowbridge is “trudging on.”
2. Cherry Lane/Faculty Bricks—Joanne Russell said there has been no news from MSU regarding this project. Marcia Van Ness will draft a letter inquiring as to where the project is, and can the RCCA offer any assistance.
3. State Police Building and Site—Bill Hartwig said the board's MSP interest group has a report that townhouses could be built on lots 100' deep, avoiding the radio tower, and recommends residential occupancy.
4. School Paths— Awaiting word from the city on ownership of walking paths between Red Cedar School and the neighborhood. (Bill Hartwig reported that Harrison Road is scheduled to be torn up during the summer of 2010. The concern is how to access neighborhood, especially the churches involved).
V. New Business:
· Motion made by Brendan Boyle, and seconded by Jim Bebermeyer, to invite Drain Commissioner, Pat Lindemann to November 19, 2009. Approved. The location is to be determined.

Simon to a coffee sometime early in 2010, or earlier, if it is at her convenience.” Approved with one “no vote” from Joanne Russell.
VII. Board Concerns:
Discussed Game Day Parking at Red Cedar School—how it affects the property, and where does the revenue from this go?
VIII. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
The next RCCA meeting will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Arbor Forest.
